Review: We dined at Baja Peninsula for our 8th anniversary, because we had heard that it was a nice restaurant, not too pretentious, with good food. The restaurant staff was friendly and professional, and the restaurant seating area, while small, was warm and inviting. The decor was tasteful and elegant. A soft jazz music was piped in. We happened to arrive on half price wine night, so we got a bottle of wine. It arrived quickly and was served professionally. The dinner menu was not extensive, but the entrée choices were quite interesting. Bread was served with the wine, with three butter choices that were all unique. This is definitely not the kind of cuisine you can get elsewhere. I chose the stuffed chicken breast with asparagus risotto. My first bite of the risotto was heavenly. Mmmm, so good. The chicken was okay, but not near as spectacular as the risotto. The service was good, the food was good, and restaurant was quaint and inviting. I’d definitely go again.
Kid friendly: No.
Menu Recommendation: Roasted Herb Chicken with asparagus and mashed potatoes.
