Stay away from the Thai Peanut Noodles. I ordered that and I got Rotten trash and Oil Noodles with peanuts on them. haha, no seriously that is what it tasted like, trash smell and noodles swimming in a bowl of oil. I'm sure it was just a bad night for them. My other experiences have been pleasant there.

I've been pleasantly surprised by Red Seven. It looks expensive, and I've heard more than one person say it doesn't feel like you're in Lafayette when you're dining there (and I agree.) I've had the cheese ravioli and a couple of (well) drinks for about $25, which is NOT bad at all. Red Seven has become a favorite of mine.

I think the place is awesome !! Lafayette needed a place like this. When your there you kinda forget that you are only in Lafayette, IN. Service is great !! Food is differant (which who doesnt get tired of the same old thing) Its really nice you can sit outside on a nice summer or fall day. One of my favorire places to go !!

My take on Red 7 is that it's a little too cool for school. The menu is limited and a bit pricey for what you get; the furnishings seem to be trying a bit too hard to be hip; and the service is a little sketchy.

The experience isn't completely awful, the prices won't break you, and you'll eventually get what you ordered, but, for my part, the place makes me roll my eyes a little bit.

But, I'm completely uncool, and my taste in alcohol definitely runs toward beer and simple liquors. A trendy environment with colorful drinks just isn't my thing. Just so you know where I'm coming from.
