Maru Sushi isn't the best quality sushi to be found in Lafayette (and I've been to ALL the alternatives), but I DO think it's the best value. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the amount of food that you get, and I will keep going back for more and more and more.

Tried Maru tonight - it was very good. As good as or maybe slightly better than any sushi I've had here, and I've done the rounds at Heisei, Kokoro, Bea One. It has the most extensive a la carte sushi menu with the most traditional options. The big advantage for me is that they don't overdo it with all the sauces - I hate those, and IMO they clutter the menu at the other places. While I'm making comparisons, all the others are better for ambience and full "out-to-dinner" experience. Maru is more of a casual lunch place.
